Club sessions
Our club sessions should be help weekly unless otherwise stated during which we session is usually started with a quick warm up and sometimes a few new techniques or skills to practice before trying them out in a game. For all new players the club is very willing to teach you how to snorkel and the basics of Octopush giving you a chance to practice separately before joining in the game if you wish. If at any point you are unsure about anything please just ask anyone and if they cannot help then they will be able to point you in the direction of who should be able to. We aim to make the session as welcoming as possible to all new and old players so that you have an enjoyable time. After the session the club will often go to a pub to relax and socialise, this is a great time to get to know the other members of the club, especially as there is not much time for chatting during a session as you are underwater a lot of the time. Before tournaments or matches we try to put the team who will be competing together on the same side to give them a bit of practice working together but during a normal session the teams on the day will tend to be random, keeping them balanced.
Session Times:
Mondays: 21:00 – 22:00
Location: Water World
Saturdays: 16:00 – 16:45

If you want transport to the pool from campus, please leave us a message here and show up at least 45 minutes before the session outside the James porter lodge (Roger Kirk Centre).
Please note: These times are liable to change at any time, but we will notify you of any changes.
The map below shows where and when our sessions are. We usually meet where the bus sign is located, but if you can get to the swimming pool yourself, we would be very grateful too.
